Cold Beer on a Friday Night
Happiness is enjoying a cold one on the deck on a lovely Friday night while your hubby serenades you with the guitar.
Don't forget to light a torch to keep the bugs at bay!
*Sigh* I love weekends at home. They rarely happen for us. It's so nice to relax. Too bad it was back to work today!

What the heck's going on around here?
So...if you visited my blog at all today, you may have noticed some weird looking stuff for awhile. It was just me, trying to figure out html code. Yikes! That's scary folks! I am pretty clueless when it comes to computer stuff, but luckily for me, I have two saviors in that department, my husband and the internet. This time it was the internet that saved me. I have been wanting to do three columns on this blog foreva! Finally today, I googled a way to do that. I found this blog called Blogger Buster. It has amazingly simple step-by-step instructions for how to change things if you use Blogger as your platform. It took me seriously five minutes to change this bad boy from two regular columns into three awesome looking ones. I am planning on changing the look of my background and header soon as well...watch for the unveiling of the new look of Hindrance! (Here's the direct link to the 3 column tut if anyone is interested.)Happy Crafting!

I passed!

Hey all! I just thought I'd drop a quick post to say I got word today that I passed the bar exam! Hooray! So now I just have to be sworn in a couple of weeks from now and I will be officially an attorney. I am pretty excited and am off now to throw together a bbq/celebration party this evening.

Long Time...No Blog!
Haven't posted for awhile. I have been pretty busy these last several days. I am starting to study for my bar exam now, so that takes up quite a bit of time. On the plus side, I managed to get several new items posted in my Etsy Store. I finally finished up a needle felting project. This picture is 2-D but I thought it turned out super cute! (I tried loading pictures, but blogger is not cooperating right now.) The project is called Felted Baa Baa Black Sheep Picture in my Etsy store. I will attempt to get pictures in this post later. Don't be afraid to try new things! This was a first attempt at needle felting for me and it turned out great!!

Despite Myself
So, despite last week's post about using up my stash, I went shopping this weekend. I visited my sister-in-law who lives near a much bigger town. Of course, we went to Crafts Direct. That store is amazing! I ended up spending way more than I should have! I got some really cute stuff for pretty cheap, as they were having great sales on everything. Oh well. The good part is that after a day of shopping, we went back to sister-in-law's and crafted. So I did get some new jewelry made up. I also finished my needle-felted lion. I am undecided on how well that came out. I will post pics later today to show some of my booty and new pieces.

Crafts supplies came in!
I live in small town by the name of Redwood Falls. We just moved here two months ago. Outside of a regular Walmart (that's right regular, not super) and a small downtown store that sells mostly scrapbooking stuff, there is not a craft store in town. The nearest town with craft stores is about 45 minutes away. I have recently rediscovered how many wonderful craft supplies you can get over the Internet. The only problem is you have to wait to get them in the mail! I have gotten so used to the instant gratification of buying supplies and then running right home to try them out! Now I wait, not so patiently, for my supplies to come in the mail. This means I don't get to make new exciting things as much, and I don't get as many things up in my Etsy store. However, I have decided after a three week Internet ordering spree that maybe I shouldn't order anything new, but instead use what I have (which is mountains of stuff!) I guess maybe that's a good lesson for us all. Today I finally got some great beads I have been waiting for. Tonight, I craft!
Here's some of the stores I have ordered from online recently:

Dime Store Emporium http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5852215
